Introduced to kitesurfing at the age of 9, Julie was inspired by her family’s love for water sports. With her mother, Pascale, having previously represented Mauritius at the Barcelona Olympics in 1992, Julie’s Olympic dreams were nurtured from a young age.

Last December, Julie achieved a significant milestone by clinching the African Kite Foil Championship title, securing her place at the Paris Olympics. Her journey towards qualification began earnestly in 2021, driven by the inclusion of formula kiteboarding in the 2024 Olympic Games.
